You will conduct geotechnical subsurface investigations related to foundations, slopes, retaining walls, landslide remediation, and pavements, coordinating drilling, logging soils, and developing lab testing programs. You will analyze laboratory data, prepare detailed reports for review, and perform field reconnaissance to identify geohazards for diverse clients in commercial, retail,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical focus (Master's preferred).
• Internship experience is a plus.
• Ability to speak and write professionally.
• EIT/FE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical subsurface investigations for foundations, slopes, walls, and pavements.
• Coordinate subsurface drilling and sample classification; prepare boring logs.
• Develop lab testing programs and interpret data; perform geotechnical analyses.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports for review by project managers.
• Conduct field reconnaissance to identify potential geohazards for proposed developments.
• Assist with erosion and sedimentation control inspections and construction materials testing.
• May supervise large-scale earthwork oversight for nationwide projects.
