Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Staff Engineer to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed engineers.

You will observe drilling and field testing, review laboratory data, and draft geotechnical and materials reports while coordinating field crews. Mentorship towards PE licensure is provided with exam support.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• EIT certification or an exam date scheduled is expected.
• Field-willing: able to work on active projects in varying conditions.
• Clear technical writing ability is essential.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
