Schnabel Engineering, an employee-owned engineering and consulting firm focused on geotechnical, geostructural, tunnel and dam projects in the United States, is seeking an Entry-Level (Staff) Engineer in Nashville, TN.

The role emphasizes developing both field and analytical skills, with opportunities to travel for months at a time, join a strong team, and benefit from a broad package including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k)/profit sharing, ESOP and professional development.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology or related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant professional experience or internship in geotechnical engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Use GIS and GPS to aid in planning and executing geotechnical field work.
• Log test borings and oversee subcontractors including drillers and traffic control.
• Create basic plans and figures using AutoCAD and GIS; perform calculations to support geotechnical designs.
• Prepare field reports and assist in geotechnical reports and proposals.
• Observe geotechnical-related construction and perform materials testing.
