Langan is seeking an Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our collaborative team in Chicago, IL, Indianapolis, IN, or Milwaukee, WI. You will assist with field investigations, logging borings, collecting data, and supporting geotechnical reports on large projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required.
• Master's degree with Geotechnical specialty preferred.
• 0-2 years of work experience with GPA 3.0+.
• EIT/FE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations.
• Log borings and test pits, collect samples, record data.
• Observe foundation and earthwork construction activities.
• Prepare logs and field forms, including logs and chain of custody.
• Document site reconnaissance and communicate issues to supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
