Job Overview:

The Geotechnical Engineer assesses and analyzes soil, rock, groundwater, and other conditions to evaluate their impact on construction projects. They design and implement solutions for foundations, slabs, pavements, earthworks, and other geotechnical aspects, ensuring structural stability and safety. This role involves both office and field work, including site investigations and monitoring construction activities. Projects may range from residential to industrial and infrastructure developments.

Duties:

1. Conduct geotechnical investigations through field exploration, laboratory testing, and analysis.
2. Design foundations and earthworks, including retaining structures and other geotechnical solutions.
3. Prepare technical reports detailing findings, analyses, and recommendations.
4. Provide technical support for infrastructure design and construction.
5. Manage geotechnical projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
6. Collaborate with civil, structural, and environmental engineers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 2 to 10 years of relevant geotechnical experience.

Licenses:

• Valid driver’s license.
