The candidate will engage in field investigations, CPT data reduction, soil mechanics testing, and geotechnical modeling to support mining and municipal projects across the region.
Qualifications
- Mid level geotechnical engineering experience.
- PE licensure strongly preferred for more senior roles.
- Field investigation experience and soil logging are beneficial.
- Experience with CPT and CPT data reduction is a plus.
- Knowledge of triaxial testing, direct shear, and consolidation data reduction is desirable.
- Familiarity with slope stability, settlement, seepage modeling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Involve field investigation activities and soil logging.
- Support CPT testing and CPT data reduction.
- Perform soil mechanics analyses including triaxial testing and consolidation data.
- Utilize geotechnical modeling for slope stability, settlement, and seepage.
- Engage in advanced geotechnical work including liquefaction, seismic evaluations, and finite element modeling.
