Key Responsibilities Depending On Experience

• Conduct soil testing and analysis to determine the physical and chemical properties of soil.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for geotechnical investigations and assessments.
• Design and analyze foundations, retaining structures, and other geotechnical components using AutoCAD.
• Participate in site characterization and geotechnical investigations to gather relevant data for projects.
• Evaluate slope stability and propose solutions to mitigate risks associated with slope failure.
• Assist in the design and implementation of ground improvement techniques and environmental geotechnics solutions.
• Collaborate with civil engineering teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into overall project designs.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively, ensuring that all geotechnical work is completed on schedule.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and geotechnical design software.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and practices, soil testing and analyses.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• EIT or PE a Plus!
• Huge plus if you've worked on heavy infrastructure, Transportation or DOT projects
