Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc in Atlanta, GA invites a civil engineer with 2–3 years geotechnical experience to join our team. You will assist in preparing engineering plans, specifications, and reports, perform basic calculations, and support design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D while conducting site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of geotechnical engineering experience or related field.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
• Exposure to MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater tools preferred.

• Support design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.


• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or a related field


• EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months).


• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.


• Exposure to relevant software such as MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred
