Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years geotechnical drilling experience.
• Mechanical skills preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain a DOT medical examiner’s certificate prior to employment.
• Must pass background checks including drug screen; excellent driving record.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Safety conscience in all aspects of work.
• Operate drilling equipment such as rotary wash and auger drill rig.
• Obtain SPT, Auger and Core samples.
• Keep accurate and detailed records.
• Classify soils in the field.
• Prepare field boring logs.
• Measure water levels at test boring locations.
• Install monitoring wells and piezometers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
