Job summary

Intertek Building & Construction seeks a Geotechnical Driller / Heavy Equipment Operator in Waukesha, WI. The role involves operating drill rigs, performing geotechnical drilling, sampling, logging reports, and maintaining safety on site.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical background, 18+ years old, able to work 12-hour shifts, and possess a valid driver's license. CDL is preferred; outdoor work is required in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical background and aptitude with skills in operating and maintaining machinery.
• Must commit to working safely and ensuring the safety of co-workers.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, 12-hour shifts in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain drill rigs, associated vehicles, and equipment.
• Perform geotechnical and environmental drilling and sampling.
• Prepare logs/records and file reports.
• Control safety procedures on site.
