Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks an experienced engineering leader to manage our Scranton office. As Group Manager, you will oversee engineering projects, staff, business development, and day-to-day operations for the branch.

You will lead multidisciplinary geotechnical projects, assemble teams, monitor budgets and schedules, ensure safety and quality, and pursue new business opportunities with clients. MS/PE credentials and local geotechnical knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical concentration.
• MS in Civil Engineering is a plus for preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects in geotechnical and construction materials sectors.
• Assemble and lead project teams through the full lifecycle.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables.
• Uphold safety standards and engineering quality practices.
• Perform technical reviews of designs and drawings.
• Pursue new business through networking and client relationships.
• Manage branch budgets, forecasts, and staffing.
