Parsons is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer – Geotechnical to join our team. You will provide day-to-day site-based geotechnical engineering support and supervision for enabling/earthworks and related infrastructure activities, ensuring compliance with approved design, specifications, and testing requirements.

You will collaborate with QA/QC, laboratories and survey teams to verify testing, bearing strata, and final grades, while maintaining accurate site records and contributing to

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years' site-based geotechnical supervision on major infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, compaction, foundations, dewatering.
• Experience coordinating geotechnical labs and interpreting results.
• Good documentation, computer literacy, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist and deputize for the Resident Engineer and support site delivery.
• Review geotechnical reports, drawings, and soil data on site.
• Monitor geotechnical works: excavation, earthworks, and compaction.
• Assess ground conditions and select suitable materials; address issues.
• Prepare method statements, ITPs, WIRs and investigate NCRs to closure.
• Coordinate QA/QC and labs; witness testing (FDT, CBR, Proctor, plate load).
• Coordinate with survey teams to verify levels and grades.
• Support trenching and bearing strata verification for foundations.
• Monitor testing frequency and geotechnical performance.
• Maintain site records and participate in inspections and meetings.
