Job summary

Olsson is seeking an assistant geotechnical engineer to join our experienced team in Colorado. You will perform design calculations for shallow and deep foundations, assist with geotechnical reports, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver safe, sustainable project solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil or Geotechnical degree, EI/EIT certification, and is willing to travel. We value clear communication, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving, with opportunities for growth and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical engineering required.
EI or EIT certification required.
Technical skills in geotechnical analysis and design.
Ability to lift 30 pounds or more.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Perform design calculations for shallow and deep foundations, including bearing capacity and settlement.
Prepare geotechnical reports and collaborate with other engineering disciplines.
Assist with project schedules and site observations.
Support drafting of design drawings and field investigations.
Travel to project sites as required.
