Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates (HCEA) is seeking a full-time Structural/Geostructural Division Manager to join our Annapolis Junction, MD office. The role emphasizes division leadership, engineering excellence, and delivering superior client service.

You will oversee engineering staff, conduct senior reviews of technical products, manage project schedules and budgets, and actively develop new client relationships to grow the division and strengthen the firm’s market position.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural/geostructural engineering experience.
• PE license required.
• Geotechnical analysis and design knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the division's growth and client development efforts.

Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates (HCEA) is a top tier, multi-disciplined engineering firm with advanced capabilities in geotechnical and geostructural engineering, environmental consulting, specialty construction, construction materials engineering and testing, and third-party inspections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Structural/Geostructural Division Manager to join our team in our Annapolis Junction, MD office.

This exciting and dynamic position requires excellence in the following competencies:

• Division Management: Provide oversight of engineering and support staff, senior review of technical products, good loss prevention practices, and lead the growth of the division.
• Engineering Competence: Must have practical understanding of and experience designing foundations, modular block and concrete retaining walls, support of excavation systems (SOE), underpinning, and misc. structures.
• Project Management: Must be a skilled project manager, with the ability to control schedules, budgets, resources, and provide the highest level of client service.
• Client Management and Development: Maintain current client relationships by providing thorough, professional service and maintaining constant communication. Identify and develop new relationships to grow client base and develop long term relationships.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Skills to manage and interface with Staff, Management, and Clients
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Structural/Geostructural Engineering
• PE license required
• Working knowledge of geotechnical analysis and design preferred
