System Soft Technologies is seeking a GIS Analyst to support multiple complex applications, collaborating with development and project managers to ensure milestones are met. The role involves developing spatial data solutions, testing, and cross-platform support across PC, web, and mobile environments.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in GIS, strong ArcGIS Online/Portal experience, SQL expertise, and knowledge of ADA compliance.

Qualifications

4 years of experience in GIS, cartography, CADD, or a related field.
4 years of experience developing user interfaces, menus, and macro-level commands in addition to performing complex spatial analyses and producing reports according to customer specifications.
ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and Portal Experience
Builder Skill
4 years of experience assisting in the development of GIS that create, maintain, or leverage geospatial basemap information.
Create Tile Cache
Imagery analysis
4 years of Advanced skills in SQL with writing database scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and SSIS packages as well as maintain spatial databases and document procedures, validate data, update and mantain metadata for new and existing items
4 years of Advanced skills in unit testing, system testing, regression testing, and automated testing to ensure product quality meet client expectation
Knowledge of ADA Compliance (1+ years of experience)
Bachelor's degree required. Foreign degrees will be accepted if evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Serve as GIS Analyst supporting multiple highly complex applications for the Department.
Collaborate with development staff and Project Managers to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
Develop solutions and streamline spatial data needs across web, client/server, and mobile applications.
Provide testing plans and evaluate new technologies; act as Customer Service liaison to client and consultants.
Support applications across PC-based, Web-based, and Mobile platforms; maintain legacy applications.
