Ayres Associates in Madison, WI seeks a Survey Technician with 2–4 years of experience to support land surveying projects. You will perform field and office survey and mapping tasks using GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, and MicroStation/Civil 3D CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in land surveying or civil engineering technology.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Physically able to walk over uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of field and office survey and mapping tasks.
• Use survey field equipment such as GPS/GNSS, robotic total stations, and MicroStation/Civil 3D CAD platforms.
• Assist and communicate with crew chiefs, technicians, and project managers in support of duties and professional land surveyors.
• Adhere to OSHA and required safety practices.
• Overtime and occasional out-of-town and overnight travel are anticipated.
