Job summary

Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Technology Solutions Specialist to join our Geospatial team.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality spatial analysis, data visualization, and GIS-driven insights for engineering, environmental, and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and clients; develop GIS applications with ArcGIS solutions; automate workflows using Python/Jupyter; and support CMMS integrations such as Cityworks.

Qualifications

6+ years of progressive GIS experience delivering spatial analysis and data management solutions.
In-depth knowledge of the ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise) and mobile data collection suites.
Experience building, testing, and documenting automated workflows using Python, Jupyter Notebooks, ModelBuilder, or related tools.
Experience configuring and supporting GIS integrations with CMMS/work-order asset management software (e.g., Cityworks, Trimble Unity).
Strong cartographic skills with the ability to produce presentation-grade maps, dashboards, and client-facing deliverables.

Responsibilities

Spatial Data Management & Analysis: Collect, clean, and maintain complex geospatial datasets to support engineering, environmental, and infrastructure projects.
Application Development: Configure and deploy GIS applications using ArcGIS solutions such as Field Maps, Survey123, Dashboards, and Experience Builder.
Workflow Automation & Integration: Script automated data processes with Python/Jupyter and integrate GIS data with CMMS platforms.
