Job summary

The Leidos Spatial Solutions Division has an exciting Software Developer position to help enable NGA's GEOINT mission, focusing on three-dimensional accuracy and geospatial analytics. You will code, develop, and debug software artifacts, write tests, and contribute in Python, Java Spring, or related frameworks.

Responsibilities include unit testing, software integration, and collaboration in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline with 8+ years of experience or Masters with 6+ years of experience.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a Polygraph after hire.
U.S. Citizen.
Demonstrates proactive, positive attitude and excellent oral/written communication.
Experience with service-oriented environments (Cloud, SOA, Web-Services).
Experience with GNU based compilers.
Experience programming in C++, Java, Typescript, and Bash.
Experience with Spring/Gradle/OpenJDK, React/Node.
Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases (Amazon RDS, Postgres).
Strong Python experience.
Experience using GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and resource management.
Experience using Docker to package and run applications.
Experience with web servers, HTTP, SSL protocols.
Familiar with AWS/Cloud technologies.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with Jira, Confluence.

Responsibilities

Code, develop, integrate, and debug software artifacts.
Write validation tests against baselines and perform unit testing in Agile development.
Programming and development in Python, Java Spring, or other frameworks.
Assist with testing and overall software integration tasks.
