Keeley Companies in St. Louis, MO is looking for a Rodman to support our Geospatial Group in field surveying and construction layout. You'll assist survey crews, hold rods and GPS equipment, and help collect topographic, boundary, and as-built data.

You will establish control points, transport and maintain equipment, and record field notes. Our teams emphasize safety, teamwork, and accuracy as you grow toward Instrument Man or Crew Chief roles.

Qualifications

  • Degree or 3-5 years of relevant surveying experience.
  • Basic math, geometry, and measurements understanding.
  • Willingness to learn surveying procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Assist field crews with surveying and layout activities.
  • Hold rods, prisms, GPS equipment as directed.
  • Collect topographic, boundary, as-built data and staking.
  • Establish and recover survey control points and benchmarks.
  • Operate and maintain survey equipment in the field.
  • Document field notes accurately and legibly.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members for efficiency.
  • Support safety procedures and site hazard awareness.
