Job summary

Geospatial Consulting Group International (geocgi) seeks a Data Scientist for a U.S. government contract role in Rosslyn, VA, with a hybrid schedule (home-based with one day per week in the office).

You will design and deploy ML workflows, process both structured and unstructured data, and deliver analytics with NLP, CV, and graph methods to support DHS/State missions. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Azure, ArcGIS, Power BI/Tableau, and containerized apps is essential, as are clear communication

Qualifications

• Experience in ML model development, evaluation, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy ML/data science workflows for structured and unstructured data.
• Perform content extraction and enrichment from diverse sources.
• Apply NLP and computer vision methods for entity recognition, de-duplication, classification, and similarity analysis.
• Build graph-based models and analytics; integrate with GIS platforms.
• Leverage cloud-native AI with Azure and Azure services.
• Perform big data processing and analytics at scale.
• Create visuals with Esri ArcGIS, Power BI, Tableau for technical audiences.
• Write clean, maintainable Python, R, SQL code and document it.
• Collaborate with GIS analysts to integrate analytics into workflows.
• Produce reports and briefings for stakeholders.
