Job summary

E&M Technologies, Inc. seeks a Geospatial Mapping Trainer to join our JBAB, DC team supporting the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office. This role focuses on GIS training and geospatial analysis to produce intelligence products for warfighter support.

The ideal candidate brings DoD GEOINT experience, strong GIS tool proficiency, and the ability to train analysts while coordinating with mission partners and customers. Requires US citizenship and a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years using GIS for GEOINT analysis in the DoD.
  • 1+ year leading trainings on GIS tools.
  • 3+ years of open-source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination.
  • Experience creating intelligence products supporting mission requirements.
  • Experience representing an office or organization to internal and external audiences and providing customer service.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of GEOINT databases, including commercial databases.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a DoD security clearance at the appropriate level.

E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Geospatial Mapping Trainer to join our team in JBAB, DC in support of the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office (DRI). DRI's mission is to catalog and analyze military and civilian infrastructure and defense-related resources that underpin a nation's or group's military capabilities-including transportation, logistics, defense economics, energy systems, arms trade, physical vulnerability to weapon effects, defense industries, and the operational environment-to support U.S. and allied planners, targeteers, warfighters, policymakers, partners, and acquisition official.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Train analysts on the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other analytic tools to develop intelligence products that will support the warfighter.
  • Teach them aggregate and analyze geospatial information and produce visualizations and modeling to support the production of intelligence reports.
  • Assist in identifying key locations and personalities within high-priority networks.
  • Act as a strong collaborator and mission-focused team member who is comfortable working with analysts, mission partners, and customers.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with using GIS, including ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth,GeoMediaPRO, or QGIS to conduct GEOINT analysis in the DoD
  • 1+ year of experience leading trainings on the above GIS tools
  • 3+ years of experience with conducting open-source data collection, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination
  • Experience with creating intelligence products supporting mission requirements
  • Experience in representing an office or organization to internal and external audiences and providing customer service
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience supporting strategic- and operational-level customers
  • Knowledge of GEOINT databases, including commercial databases
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the appropriate level
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with using business technologies, including Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Python and other coding languages
  • Knowledge of DoD and intelligence community missions
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. E&M considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
