Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Geospatial Manager to lead survey, reality capture, and digital delivery efforts across Texas, primarily based in Frisco. The role offers the chance to guide technical teams, manage high-impact infrastructure work, and shape how project data is captured, processed, and delivered.

You will mentor teams, build client relationships, and turn complex field data into practical project intelligence, driving STV's Better Data, Faster initiative across a growing Texas operation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in surveying, geomatics, or related geospatial field.
• Hands-on UAV/UAS, LiDAR, laser scanning, and GNSS workflows.
• Strong knowledge of survey principles, coordinate systems, and data quality.
• Experience supporting transportation, municipal, utility, land development, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with tools listed in the job qualifications.
• RPLS license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead UAV/UAS, LiDAR, and reality capture efforts for transportation, utility, municipal, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Process, manage, and quality-check geospatial data using Trimble Business Center, Leica Cyclone, DJI Terra, Pix4D, Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, OpenRoads, and MicroStation.
• Develop accurate digital deliverables, including point clouds, orthomosaics, terrain models, and 3D reality capture datasets.
• Collaborate with survey crews, engineers, utility teams, construction professionals, and project managers to turn field data into reliable project intelligence.
• Support boundary, deed, easement, right-of-way, survey, utility, construction, and as-built deliverables with licensed survey professionals.
• Integrate geospatial data into design and digital delivery workflows using Civil 3D, OpenRoads, ArcGIS, MicroStation, and related applications.
• Help advance STV's Better Data, Faster initiative by improving workflows and supporting AI and reality capture technology.
• Lead technical input for scopes, proposals, estimates, client discussions, standards, and best practices for geospatial services.
• Serve as a trusted resource for field teams, CAD staff, survey technicians, engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams while maintaining safe practices.
