Job summary

KBR is seeking an Engineering Technician to support ASAB under the AFCAP V program for the U.S. Air Force, providing installation engineering, asset management and geospatial data development. You will perform surveying, drafting, and PM support, developing maps and datasets with AutoCAD and GIS, and ensuring compliance with government standards.

Responsibilities include field surveys, QA, maintaining as-built records, and updates to GeoBase/CIP/MDS/MDL with SDSFIE standards. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Passport book with at least 13 months remaining and 6 blank visa pages.
• Minimum 3 years combined experience in surveying, drafting, construction management and PM.
• At least 1 year using AutoCAD and GIS software.
• Two years with public or government organizations.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Responsibilities

• Perform surveying, drafting, construction management and PM support.
• Develop and maintain drawings, maps and geospatial datasets using AutoCAD and GIS.
• Support construction inspections, documentation and QA activities.
• Maintain as-built drawings, facility records and infrastructure docs.
• Update GeoBase, CIP, MDS and MDL per SDSFIE and AF standards.
• Conduct field surveys including topographic, boundary and utility surveys.
• Assist with airfield obstruction data updates and waiver docs.
• Support site prep coordination, permits and utility outage docs.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete and compliant with govt requirements.
