Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking an Engineering Technician for ASAB ESS with SECRET clearance requirements. The role supports installation engineering, surveying, GIS, and documentation to ensure facilities data is accurate and mission-ready.

Responsibilities include field surveys, drafting, project management support, and compliance with Air Force standards. Candidates must have citizenship, security clearance eligibility, and NDA willingness.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Passport book with 13+ months remaining and 6 blank visa pages.
• Minimum three years in surveying, drafting, construction management and project management.
• At least one year of recent AutoCAD and GIS experience.
• Experience with public or government organizations preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET clearance.
• Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Responsibilities

• Perform surveying, drafting, construction management, and project management support.
• Develop and maintain technical drawings, maps, and geospatial datasets using AutoCAD and GIS.
• Support construction inspections, documentation, and QA activities.
• Maintain as-built drawings, facility records, and infrastructure documentation
• Update GeoBase, CIP, MDS, and MDL in line with SDSFIE and Air Force standards
• Conduct field surveys including topographic, boundary, and utility surveys
• Assist with airfield obstruction data updates and waiver documentation
• Support site prep coordination, permits, and utility outage documentation
• Ensure engineering documentation is accurate and government-compliant
