Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Geospatial Engineer to extract and supply geographic data supporting military operations and to help commanders visualize the battlefield. You will create maps, maintain geospatial databases, and prepare terrain briefs for operations.

Through training, you will gain skills in geographic information systems and imagery interpretation, with on-the-job instruction and classroom time, supporting a civilian career in surveying, cartography, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ages 17–35 must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Citizenship requirements must be met.
