Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Geospatial Analyst II to join our team supporting planning, preparedness, mitigation, and emergency coordination across the Pacific Northwest. The role is based in the Seattle/Bothell, WA area, focusing on natural hazards, operational readiness, and all-hazards preparedness projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years in emergency management planning.
• Familiarity with FEMA ICS, planning doctrine, and disaster operations.
• Experience applying the FOPM Six Step Planning Process in real scenarios.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and implement emergency operations, hazard mitigation, and continuity of operations plans.
• Apply FEMA's FOPM Six Step Planning Process to guide planning deliverables and engagement.
• Support planning task orders through coordination, documentation, and meetings.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and interagency coordination for planning efforts.
• Assist in designing and executing exercises to test and improve plans.
• Integrate data analysis and GIS into planning products for evidence-based decisions.
• Develop dashboards, analytical workflows, and data visualization products.
• Support GIS-based analysis, mapping, and situational awareness activities.
