Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Geospatial Developer in Northern Virginia to join an integrated team supporting mission-focused geospatial applications. The role involves collecting data from open sources, transforming it for ESRI portals, and delivering web-based mapping solutions with ArcGIS technologies.

The candidate will work with GIS professionals to design, develop, and implement mapping tools, dashboards, and geospatial services while collaborating with customers to meet mission needs and scale

Qualifications

BS in Geography, GIS, CS or related field with 4–8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 2–6 years of experience.
Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS suite including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
Strong programming skills in Python, JSON, SQL, CSS, and HTML/JavaScript.
US Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
Experience with geospatial data formats and digital cartography.

Responsibilities

Develop geospatial applications and mapping tools as part of a collaborative team.
Collect geospatial data from open sources and format for ESRI portals.
Ingest data into Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online and support dashboard apps.
Engage with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
