Seeking Geospatial Data Technician candidates with relevant Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Science, and Technology Research Sector Clients such as DOEOP. Provide services and support as a Energy Technical Consulting (Geospatial Data Technician) in the Energy, Science, and Technology Research Industry Sector focussing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as Department of Energy (DOE | OP) | DOE Office of Policy (OP) Generally Located In CONUS - Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Geospatial Data Technician | Mapping Support [DOEOP072077]

Updates and validates geospatial datasets, ensuring precision in mapping energy infrastructure. Align with Mapping Support Functional Area initiatives as a Geospatial Data Technician that Compile and manage geospatial data for mapping, visualization, and public-facing products. Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP). These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies.

Geospatial Data Technician is responsible for key functions such as developing analyses, supporting initiatives, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. The role of GI Developer involves supporting DOE initiatives with analysis, collaboration, and strategic implementation. Update and validate geospatial data to support visualization and analysis of energy infrastructure.
