Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. The role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, API services, and front-end interfaces for geospatial and structured data visualization.

You will work with Data Lakes platforms such as Databricks, Kubernetes, and ESRI ArcGIS environments, and build scalable web applications with metadata-driven search. A TS/SCI security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or 5 years in full-stack dev and data engineering.
• Experience building data visualization dashboards and analytics within ESRI GIS platforms and cloud databases.
• Experience implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and container deployments in Kubernetes.
• Experience optimizing queries and indexing for large-scale geospatial and structured datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data integration pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data.
• Work with Databricks, Kubernetes, and ESRI ArcGIS environments.
• Build scalable, secure web apps with metadata-driven search and retrieval.
• Integrate APIs for data interoperability.
• Develop full-stack apps enabling visualization, dashboards, and analytics in ESRI GIS and cloud DBs.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data access between Data Lake, ESRI ArcGIS, and external sources.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and container deployments in Kubernetes with secure API access.
• Optimize queries and indexing for large-scale geospatial and structured datasets.
