Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Full-Stack Data Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS. You will develop data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization, leveraging Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS, and Unity Catalog in cloud environments.

The role requires building scalable web apps, securing API access, and optimizing large datasets. Prior experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs is essential, as is CI/CD and containerized deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Data Engineering, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering full-stack apps for data visualization, dashboards and analytics within ESRI GIS, Unity Catalog, and cloud DBs.
• Experience implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines, containers in Kubernetes, and API authentication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data integration pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization.
• Work with Data Lakes platforms including Databricks, Kubernetes, and ESRI ArcGIS.
• Build scalable, secure web apps with metadata-driven search and retrieval.
• Integrate APIs for seamless data interoperability.
• Develop and deploy full-stack apps enabling data visualization, dashboards, and analytics in ESRI GIS, Unity Catalog, and cloud DBs.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration between Data Lake, ESRI GIS, and external sources.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments in Kubernetes, and API authentication for secure access to products.
• Optimize queries and indexing for large-scale geospatial and structured datasets.
