Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Data Lake Engineer to support USSOUTHCOM J26 Enhanced Domain Awareness. You will develop and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial and structured data visualization across ESRI ArcGIS environments, Unity Catalog, and cloud-based databases.

The role requires experience with Databricks, Kubernetes, and secure API authentication, plus CI/CD and scalable web apps for data visualization and analytics. Active Top Secret/SCI is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field (or 5 years equivalent experience).
• Experience building and deploying full-stack apps for data visualization, dashboards, and analytics in ESRI GIS and cloud databases.
• Experience implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs for data retrieval and integration.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments; API authentication.
• Experience optimizing queries for large geospatial and structured datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data integration pipelines, APIs, and front-end interfaces for geospatial data visualization.
• Work with Data Lakes platforms (Databricks, Kubernetes, ESRI ArcGIS).
• Build scalable, secure web apps with metadata-driven search and retrieval features.
• Integrate APIs for data interoperability and dashboards within ESRI GIS platforms and cloud databases.
• Deploy full-stack apps enabling data visualization and analytics; implement REST/GraphQL APIs.
