Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a GEOMAP Data Engineer to join the AFCEC GeoBase team in San Antonio, TX. This on-site role requires 4 days at Lackland AFB and 1 day remote, with no visa sponsorship.

You will develop Python-based geospatial solutions, automate complex data tasks, and manage dashboards while leveraging Esri ArcGIS in a cloud-enabled environment. A Secret clearance is required to support sensitive Air Force projects.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret (or higher) security clearance required.
• Expert ArcGIS Pro user with Portal for ArcGIS admin and ArcGIS Feature Service admin skills.
• Experience deploying apps in AWS cloud and integrating GIS data.
• Familiarity with SDSFIE or similar spatial data models.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom Python apps, web services and enterprise geospatial solutions.
• Automate data processing tasks and geoprocessing for AFCEC systems.
• Design user-friendly interfaces and ensure performance/quality.
• Integrate data across apps and review code/automation with team.
• Create and manage GEOMAP dashboards and portal content.
