This position reports to the GDA Unit manager and involves creating and managing advanced web-based GIS solutions supporting enterprise-level spatial analyses and data governance. Responsibilities include developing, deploying, and maintaining GIS applications and dashboards, such as an internal intake system and a public dashboard for the Maryland Coordinated Permitting Review Council. Technologies used include ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python, R, SQL, and ETL tools like FME. The role involves performing complex spatial analyses, designing spatial data models, and serving as a technical liaison to government agencies and stakeholders, ensuring project alignment with departmental goals.
