Xcel Energy is seeking a Geospatial Specialist I to provide responsive GIS and application support across enterprise systems. You will assist internal customers, manage data extracts, and contribute to project testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in GIS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in gas/electric utility with proficiency in geospatial apps.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Ability to explain complex material clearly in writing and speech.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user GIS and GIS-related app support; troubleshoot with IT; run daily/weekly reports.
• Handle internal/external requests for GIS map products; perform data analysis and extractions; produce metrics.
• Support Geospatial Project Management with testing, implementation, and documentation as directed.
