Job summary

WGI is seeking a Geospatial Analyst I for the DOD SkillBridge Transitioning Service Members program in our Huntsville, AL and West Palm Beach, FL offices. The role focuses on GIS workflow development, LiDAR processing, and geospatial data management within the Geospatial Division.

Ideal candidates will have a BA/BS in Geography or related earth sciences, 0–2 years (3–5 if not degreed) of GIS/remote sensing experience, and solid ESRI proficiency. Teamwork and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Geography or related earth sciences preferred; additional experience may substitute education.
0-2 years (3-5 if not degreed) of increasing technical knowledge in GIS, LiDAR, photogrammetry, remote sensing, or surveying is preferred.
Experience with ESRI is required.
Candidates with GeoCue, TerraScan, LP360, or TopoDOT will be given higher consideration.
Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
Ability to work independently and in a team to execute geospatial workflows.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving in geospatial contexts are highly desired.

Responsibilities

Conduct workflow processes with GIS, CAD, and remote sensing; pre-process imagery; digitize vector features; perform LiDAR classification; extract features and assist with metadata and project reporting.
Provide technical guidance on geospatial standards, product generation, and geodatabase management.
