The Remote Sensing Technician is responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and managing remotely sensed data. Technicians will work with various types of imagery and sensor data, ensuring data quality and extracting valuable information.
DOD SkillBridge Transitioning Service Members Only
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over employment visas.
Physical Demands
The physical demands are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Work is performed in a field setting. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate sensors, computers, keyboards, and mice. Use of a telephone headset will facilitate virtual communication via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The employee may often need to sit for prolonged periods, handle objects or tools, reach with hands and arms, speak, and hear. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
