Job summary

Core One Group is seeking a geospatial analyst to join our team supporting national security initiatives. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and expertise in geospatial analysis, data governance, and advanced GIS tools to deliver actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will manage spatial data ecosystems, create geoprocessing workflows, and communicate findings through compelling multimedia presentations and reports for DoD/IC stakeholders.

Qualifications

• College degree must be in GIS, Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related field.
• Relevant geospatial analysis and GIS experience is required.
• Current TS/SCI with SSBI is required.
• Expert knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer.
• Experience with spatial databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostGIS).
• Experience in geographic data governance, metadata, and performance metrics interpretation.
• Ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and reports.
• Experience coding for geoprocessing/workflows in Python, R, SAS, or Java.
• Experience coordinating with industry counterparts on technical projects.

Qualifications:

• College degree must be in Geospatial Information & Services (GIS), Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related field.
• Relevant experience must be in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.
• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
• Expert knowledge of industry standard location analysis desktop and server applications such as Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, etc.
• Experience using and managing spatial relational databases including Oracle, MSSQL, or PostGreSQL/PostGIS.
• Extensive experience with geographically-derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management and interpretation of business and performance metrics.
• Expert ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports.
• Demonstrated experience using geospatial Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows.
• Experience in coordination and collaboration with industry counterparts on technical projects, software and service assessment, and other related subject material.
  Desired Experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD geospatial data and repositories.
• Experience working within common project management frameworks.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cartography, GIS, spatial modeling.
• Demonstrated experience using Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom solutions.
• Familiarity with Army, DoD, or IC geospatial processes, policy, and programs.
• Private sector (e.g., GISP, Esri Professional, etc.) or government (e.g., GPC series) professional GIS certification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and graphic design principles.
• Familiarity with DoD/NSG Structured Observation Management (SOM) and object- based production
