Job summary

Core One is seeking a geospatial intelligence professional in Augusta, GA to address national security challenges. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance and expertise in geospatial analysis, GIS platforms, and data-driven decision support.

Applicants should have MA/MS in Geomatics/Geospatial Sciences with 5+ years experience or BA with 10 years, or HS diploma with Geospatial training and 15 years of Intelligence Analysis.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in a technical field such as Geomatics/Geospatial Sciences with 5 years of relevant experience or BA/BS with 10 years of relevant experience OR HS diploma with DoD/ Geospatial training and at least 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience.
• Relevant experience must be in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.
• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with SSBI.
• Expert knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, and related GIS platforms.
• Experience managing spatial relational databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, or PostGIS.
• Extensive experience with geographically-derived assessments, data integration, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports.
• Develop and deliver custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows using Python, R, SAS or Java.
• Coordinate and collaborate with industry counterparts on technical projects and software/service assessment.

Qualifications:

• MA or MS in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 5 years of relevant experience;ORBA/BS degree in a technical field such as Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, or related degree AND 10 years of relevant experienceORHS diploma/GED AND training with a DoD/ Geospatial Information Services career field/ military occupational specialty AND at least 15 years of Intelligence Analysis experience
• Relevant experience must be in geospatial analysis and/or geospatial information systems.
• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
• Expert knowledge of industry standard location analysis desktop and server applications such as Esri ArcGIS Platform, QGIS, MapBox, GeoServer, etc.
• Experience using and managing spatial relational databases including Oracle, MSSQL, or PostGreSQL/PostGIS.
• Extensive experience with geographically-derived assessments, enterprise data integration, spatial data governance, metadata management and interpretation of business and performance metrics.
• Expert ability to present geospatial information via multimedia presentations and written reports.
• Demonstrated experience using geospatial Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom geoprocessing and analytical workflows.
• Experience in coordination and collaboration with industry counterparts on technical projects, software and service assessment, and other related subject material.
  Desired Experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD geospatial data and repositories.
• Experience working within common project management frameworks.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in cartography, GIS, spatial modeling.
• Demonstrated experience using Python, R, SAS, Java or other coding languages to deliver custom solutions.
• Familiarity with Army, DoD, or IC geospatial processes, policy, and programs.
• Private sector (e.g., GISP, Esri Professional, etc.) or government (e.g., GPC series) professional GIS certification.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and graphic design principles.
• Familiarity with DoD/NSG Structured Observation Management (SOM) and object- based production
