Duties

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Supervision and daily class functions of a group of children
• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment
• Observe all rules and regulations at Chroma Early Learning Academy and the local, state, and national agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
• Support each child's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
• Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
• Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the curriculum and programming
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence
• Provide verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for behavior
• Accept responsibility for maintenance and housekeeping duties of the classroom, common areas, and playgrounds
• Attend all staff meetings, workshops, and school functions
• Maintain professional appearance as per the Employee Handbook
• Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children

Requirements

Satisfactory Background Check
