Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team remotely from Columbus, GA. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of practice experience and a Georgia license.

You will be involved in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception to trial, with direct client contact. Responsibilities include conducting discovery, depositions, and hearings; negotiating settlements; and providing reports to supervising attorneys.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
