Job summary

DEKRA North America in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Emissions Inspector to perform Georgia emissions tests and inspections, manage cash transactions, and provide exceptional customer service at the station.

On-site duties include conducting state-specific tests, completing daily checklists, maintaining the facility and equipment, answering customer questions, and delivering services with professionalism and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Certification to perform Georgia emissions tests and inspections.
• Experience: 1-2 years automotive retail experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Committed to excellent customer service.
• Ability to manage cash and non-cash payments.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by actively participating, taking responsibility, and following established procedures and policies.
• Perform state-specific tests and inspections according to the State of Georgia regulations and DEKRA standards.
• Perform product sales and services.
• Deliver all services and address all customers with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephone calls and assist customers by answering any questions and/or addressing any concerns.
• Effectively manage cash and non-cash payment received; daily reconciliation and bank deposits.
• Maintain the property, grounds, and equipment at the station.
• Complete required tasks outlined in the daily checklists at your station.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, adhering to the DEKRA standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
