Position Summary:The Georgia Center for Continuing Education Food and Beverage unit operates a variety of food service options to serve its University of Georgia and non-University of Georgia customers. As part of this comprehensive Food and Beverage operation, the Center offers served meals, buffet meals, receptions, banquet bars, a la carte deliveries, coffee breaks and off-site events for any and all meal periods and time frames. This position will be tasked with:
• Providing table side service to customers in the Savannah Room area as needed
• Performing customer service functions as needed in the Bulldog Bistro
• Performing all necessary service functions as needed, i.e. setting tables, bussing, etc…
Customer service experience preferred.
Physical Demands:Repeatedly lift up to 40 pounds and walk/stand 67-100% of the time.
