Position in the Georgia 4‑H Summer camping program located at one of five 4‑H Facilities across the state. Counselors are expected to create a safe and fun environment for campers to participate in experiential learning and recreational opportunities, primarily in an outdoor, natural setting. Counselors also plan and produce entertainment opportunities for campers and work to coordinate these activities with UGA Cooperative Extension Staff and other Center staff.
Classification: Temporary Service/Maintenance. FLSA: Non‑Exempt. FTE: 1.00. Minimum Qualifications: This is a Camp Counselor position that requires direct interaction or care of children under the age of 18. Position of Trust: Yes. No access to financial resources or P‑Card required.
