Job summary

Synthires is seeking experienced Geopolitical Risk Advisors to support AI training and evaluation in a remote contractor capacity. You will develop realistic geopolitical scenarios, review content for accuracy, and assess strategic decisions to inform project deliverables.

Your IR expertise will be applied to analyze regional security dynamics, identify risks, and deliver evidence-based recommendations that improve AI systems’ understanding of geopolitical developments.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in geopolitical risk analysis or international security.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical developments and strategic risk assessment.
• Experience evaluating complex political or security situations and providing strategic recommendations.
• Excellent written communication skills for structured assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop Geopolitical Scenarios: Create realistic, unclassified scenarios involving geopolitical risks, international security, foreign policy, and global affairs.
• Evaluate Geopolitical Content: Review political and national security materials for accuracy, relevance, analytical quality, and real-world applicability.
• Assess Strategic Decisions: Analyze geopolitical and security-related decisions, identifying potential risks, inconsistencies, and unsupported assumptions.
• Apply International Relations Expertise: Use professional knowledge of international relations, regional security dynamics, foreign policy, and geopolitical developments to evaluate complex scenarios.
• Conduct Strategic Risk Assessments: Identify emerging threats, regional instability, international tensions, and other factors that may influence geopolitical outcomes.
• Prepare Evidence-Based Recommendations: Develop structured assessments, clear explanations, and well-supported recommendations for project deliverables.
• Support AI Training and Evaluation: Evaluate AI-generated geopolitical analysis and strategic reasoning to help improve the accuracy and reliability of AI systems.
