Job summary

Responsibilities include 3D seismic interpretations, attribute calculations, inversions, stress analysis, microseismic support and data acquisition/processing, with emphasis on risk assessment of induced seismicity.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years’ oil and gas operator experience.
• Permian Basin experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of petroleum system fundamentals.
• Proficiency in well log interpretation and basic rock physics.
• Exposure to 3D seismic processing/reprocessing (PSTM/PSDM).
• Ability to communicate complex geophysical topics to non‑technical audiences.
• Detail‑oriented with strong risk/uncertainty communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3D seismic interpretations from basin to asset level for development and operations.
• Calculate seismic attributes and interpret to aid planning and wellbore execution.
• Generate inversions and time-depth conversions for project support.
• Interpret subsurface geomechanical properties and conduct stress analysis.
• Support microseismic data acquisition and interpretation.
• Deliver geophysical interpretations for acquisitions and divestitures.
• Assist with 3D seismic data acquisition and processing projects.
• Monitor induced seismicity trends and provide risk assessment.
