Job summary

Qualifications

  • B.S. in hydrogeology/geology/geophysics/geological engineering or civil engineering with water/environment emphasis.
  • M.S. in geoscience-related field counts as two years experience; Ph.D. counts as four years experience.
  • 3+ years in geophysical services with data processing experience.
  • Strong understanding of field activities, GPS equipment, troubleshooting, and safety.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to write technical reports.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in data processing, analysis and interpretation for electrical resistivity and seismic data.
  • Experience with EM methods, GPR, magnetics and borehole logging.
  • Troubleshoot data acquisition gear and support geophysical reporting.
  • Co-author technical reports with senior staff guidance.
  • Observe and enforce OSHA/MSHA safety protocols.
  • Support senior management with timely completion of project tasks.
