Qualifications

• Degree required: B.S. in Mining/Geological/Geotechnical Engineering.
• Knowledge of mining engineering and geotechnical practices in hard rock open-pit mines.
• Familiarity with MS Office and AutoCAD for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in geomechanical project oversight and reviews with consultants.
• Support data collection and slope stability analyses.
• Communicate slope stability information to mine personnel.
• Assist inspections of pit walls, stockpiles, and access roads.
• Seek safety improvements in slope monitoring and blasting design.
