Job summary

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. seeks a Geomatics Field Engineer to execute field survey activities on projects, including control, topo data, staking, as-builts, drone planning, GIS, and utility locating.

You will report to the jobsite and coordinate with the Geomatics team to meet design intent and schedule goals. Responsibilities include safety and QA/QC, GNSS data collection, site calibration, support for pile driving calibration, UAV flight operations with LiDAR and multispectral sensors,

Qualifications

2+ years of geodetic survey experience using GNSS equipment.
FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center preferred.
Strong ability to communicate and integrate with project teams.

Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to safety and QA/QC processes to deliver accurate data and final products.
Provide Data Collection, Layout, As-Built, and Machine Control calibration support.
Calibrate sites and maintain project control networks; support pile driving calibration.
Coordinate with Operations and Design teams to ensure design intent is met.
Pilot UAV operations with LiDAR, photogrammetry, IR, and multispectral sensors; support data collection.
