The candidate will supervise traditional survey methods and aerial data collection, report to the Geomatics Manager, and contribute to data quality and project success across Wisconsin sites.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of geodetic surveying experience using GNSS.
  • FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate.
  • Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center preferred.
  • Strong communication and team integration skills.
  • Knowledge of design and construction processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field survey activities including project control and topographic data collection.
  • Coordinate with design and operations teams to ensure design intent.
  • Pilot UAVs with LiDAR, photogrammetry, IR, and multispectral sensors.
  • Maintain GNSS equipment and control networks.
  • Support GIS with quality survey data and onsite SME input.
  • Prepare as-built and CAD deliverables.
  • Ensure safety and quality per McCarthy guidelines.
