Job summary

WWC Engineering in Laramie, WY is seeking a Geological Intern to support project managers on NEPA documents, environmental and water sampling, permitting, and hydrogeology tasks. You will assist with field investigations and data collection.

You will help prepare reports and environmental documents, create geologic figures in Civil3D or ArcGIS, and coordinate with geologists, engineers, and staff. Travel may be required; this is an at-will role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a two- or four-year geology program.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide geologic and environmental support to project managers.
• Conduct field investigations to support design work.
• Assist with the preparation of reports, environmental documents, permit applications and other deliverables.
• Prepare geologic figures in Civil3D or ArcGIS.
• Coordinate with geologists, engineers and staff to support project efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Travel may be involved as needed.
